According to Numark, the Mixtrack Pro is the world’s most popular DJ controller. For nearly two and a half years, the Mixtrack Pro has been at the top of the pile for beginner Dhes taking their first steps into the world of mixing, but in that time the idea of what DJing is has evolved somewhat – and importantly for a DJ controller, the world of software has changed a fair. Hi all,Yesterday I received my Mixtrack 3 and set it up in hopes of playing around with it. After some trouble getting Mixx setup and configured properly, I went to enable my controller. I used the MIDI mapping that is already present for the Mixtrack 3 (and Mixtrack Pro 3) and enabled the controller, but none of the knobs, faders, or buttons for that matter were changing anything on screen. The only response I got was the manual loop in pad, which was flashing blue on each deck.
At first I figured it may be a problem with the controller, and that it might not be sending MIDI signals properly. To check this I downloaded and booted up the edition of Virtual DJ LE that comes with the Mixtrack, and the controller was able to properly control everything in that software. This leads me to believe that I must have screwed up somewhere along the way synchronizing the controller with mixxx. If anyone could help me out with this, I'd greatly appreciate it! I was looking forward to trying Mixxx out as my first DJ software, and don't want to have to use Virtual DJ 8 LE for too long in the meantime

I've just been ignoring it until now, but I'd really like to get it fixed at this point so my board can be 100% functional, and because I'm starting to make use of them more often.
I did some troubleshooting with someone in the Mixxx IRC chat a while ago, but that never went anywhere. What we did deduce though is that it's almost definitely a software issue, because when I switch the wheel bindings so the right wheel works on deck 1 and the left wheel works on deck 2, the left wheel becomes the one with the issue. But I checked out the XML and JS myself, and the bindings are identical, aside from which deck they work on.

I'm running Windows 10, I've got 8GB of RAM, an Intel 5500 HD Graphics, i3 processor, and a 'Realtek High Definition Audio' soundcard with a high definition audio controller. Can't get more specific than that with my card because that's all even device manager has to say about it, it's the default with my laptop and I've got the most recent default drivers for it. I just use my portable TV's output as my headphone channel, since it's got a headphone jack and I use it as a second display for my logo and visualizers, and as a facade to hide the back of my amp a bit. I don't notice a very large delay with it for my headphones, and my default audio channel has around a 2 millisecond delay, so I don't see any reason to spend $100+ on an external card. But that's beside the point.
